You are a member of a secret society with a mission of the utmost importance.
You will have encounters with other members around the underground city at which you will obtain information to get closer to fulfilling your mission.
Clandestine Rendezvous is an adventure taking place in Montréal’s underground city during the day on Friday, January 30, 2009. Participants receive a set of appointment cards that direct them to specific locations at precise times at which they will meet other operatives and exchange information with them. Each rendezvous will provide a clue to solve the case.
Register here (why?). Already registered?
The event is taking place during a weekday to take full advantage of spaces that are only accessible at such times. If you work maybe you can book it off or call in sick? Skip school? If not, there’ll be a weekend event some time in March.
It will start some time in the early afternoon.
Anyone is invited to attend. You should have a sense of adventure and stealth and be able to pass as a person entitled to visit downtown buildings (i.e. business casual, courier, etc.), lest your mission be compromised! You can go alone or with a partner.
The registration form asks your level of bravery. How much risk are you willing to take? Do you want to stick to places open to the public, or are you sneaky enough to push the envelope?
You must register to attend the event, as scheduling each rendezvous depends on knowing who will attend. If you are uncertain whether you can make it, register anyway; you can cancel up until the day before the event. Register here.
A $2 donation is requested to cover costs.
Got a question? Fire away. This is not the registration form; that’s here.
